Power Tools for Artists: A Capacity Building Series is a year-long collaboration providing capacity building support to artists in the Solidarity Economy facilitated by Art.coop.
Join us for a year-long series of monthly events pairing training (rotating between legal, cooperative development, and culture and governance topics) with technical assistance provided by lawyers, cooperative developers, and Art.coop staff.
Our next event is…
Cohere, Here on 16 November with Specs Studio
Join Currency House residents and cooperators Katie Giritlian and Amy Yoshitsu for Cohere, Here on 16 November from 4:00PM ET/1:00PM PT.
Cohere, Here is a curriculum and workshop about art, money, and collaborative labor created by Specs Studio, a design consulting cooperative co-founded by Katie Giritlian and Amy Yoshitsu.
Their prompts—rooted in many years as cooperative worker-owners, backgrounds in DIY spaces, and experiences as artists—create emotional safety and intellectual infrastructure for diverse groups of participants to candidly discuss their economic and artistic challenges, privileges, and strategies as creatives under capitalism.
Register for the workshop here.
Can’t make it in November?
